| Khalifa receives Nazarbayev |
|
WAM Abu Dhabi, 2 Nov. 2009 (WAM) -- President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received today at Al Mushrif Palace President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on the side line of his private visit to the UAE.
As he welcomed the Kazakh head of state, Sheikh Khalifa hoped UAE-Kazakhstan bonds would make further progress. He also wished his Kazakh counterpart good stay in the UAE.
The two leaders reviewed ways of enhancing relations of cooperation between the two friendly countries for the best interest of the two peoples.
They also exchanged views on wide range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The President of Kazakhstan said he was pleased with his visit to the UAE and meeting with his UAE counterpart.
He praised the UAE success in hosting the F1 final race at Yas Marina Circuit.
He said he was impressed with the advanced facilities at the motor sport track.
Later, Sheikh Khalifa hosted a luncheon in honour of the president of Kazakhstan and his accompanying delegation.
A number of Sheikhs, ministers and top officials attended the talks and the banquet.
